    This article is very interesting. I only thought that Trump was an outsider and an extremist who was unprecendented in the history. Clearly, Trump was not; he's only won primaries so far. America and Republican party still have a chance before Trump actually becomes a president. Not only Taylor is remembered as the worst President in the history, but also he allowed the Whig party, which had 4 presiential candidates and 2 Presidents, to disappear after two decades since its foundation. I don't know if Trump becoming a President could make the current Republican party to disappear in this biparty system and after its long history. But it definitely seems possible that Trump could swing those Republican supporters to be lost or to swing them to the left. People could lose an abosolute trust in the Republican party if he becomes the incompetent President, as expected, based on how he has performed as a presidential candidate.
