This is pretty interesting to say the least. I feel like initially when Bitcoin was released people were worried about the technology behind it but now banks are using the technology behind it, namely, Blockchain. I do not think Banks are copying the technology, because as is said in the video when you release a technology into the market you don't necessarily own it and you cannot control how it evolves. Furthermore, banks seem to have slightly different and more uses of the technology from my understanding.
