We've talked a lot lately about how college costs are increasing, also increasing the debt college students are taking on. This article brings up the fact that the presidents at public universities are also now making more money than ever before. These 4 presidents making more than $1 million a year seems pretty ridiculous to me. What do you think?

  1. I agree that the Presidents at these universities making more than $1 million a year is a little outrageous. If they have money like that for the leadership at these institutions then they can definitely lower the tuition or provide better scholarship programs. Just a thought.

  2. I'm curious to what the day in a life of a school president is like. What exactly are they responsible for and is it 1 million dollars worth of responsibility

  3. Situations like this make me wonder whether or not there should be wages maximums for certain positions.

  4. I have recently seen a map which shows that in the majority of states, the highest paid public employee is a football or basketball coach. Couldn't this money go elsewhere?
