This video highlighted a number of my concerns with the GOP tax plans. I have often been weary of tax cuts because they disproportionately impact the wealthy. I have read studies that say that tax cuts CAN benefit the economy. However, as history shows us, the middle and poor class often do not benefit from these cuts. Further, I am not surprised by the huge deficit the plan would create. The GOP candidates often advocate for budget cuts, but cutting certain programs would do more damage for the average American than good.
