This is so sad. In underdeveloped countries people are concerned about surviving and proving basic needs for their families. As we live in access in the United States it is essential to remember how people in other places live. In this class we have been constantly talking about the "global economy" rather than the economies of specific countries. In order to advance this global economy people that are concerned with getting water/food could be using their efforts to benefit the economy. When will basic human needs be met globally? How can this problem be addressed?
