I'm not feeling too optimistic about my future after graduation after reading this article (lol jk). The author talks about the financial challenges we'll be facing as graduates during these trying times. I think these prospects totally suck but I'm interested to hear how passionate you guys are about this. I can already think of some people who's lives reflect those described in the article. Is there anything we can do to prevent this or lessen the impact?

I think that many job offers that college grads do receive aren't necessarily what they want in terms of starting salary and job title. I know that many college grads now a days aren't receiving jobs even related to their majors, which could be from a crowded job market. With the economy slowly creeping along I think that the college grad unemployment rate will continue to be relatively high.
