  1. Wow this is interesting to learn about the income inequalities worldwide. Even some of the lower class in some countries are doing better than most of the population in different countries.

  2. These are some pretty cool infographics and graphs, however, it isn't clear if they take wealth into effect. I'm sure, especially considering this week's reading, that if wealth were to be accounted for we'd see rising inequality...

  3. the article does not take wealth into consideration perhaps because the focus is on the overall trend of income inequality. what i found fascinating was the loss of the middle class and their jobs, which obviously heightens the gap between the rich and the poor. the last animated graph left me wondering. it draws comparison of poverty between 1973 and 2010 delineating poverty as income below $1, but is that in nominal or real terms?
