Google and facebook charges the apps and thus they are making money with our private information.

  1. Though I think often the spreading of this information without explicit consent is exploitative, I think people just need to be cognizant of the information they are sharing. You can't get too upset with these mediums using information you have wittingly made public.

  2. i login to both facebook and google a couple of times a day for personal and other use. i guess i feel safe because the "https" in those links demarcates "secured website". with increasing advancements in digital technology the concern about private information's security is normal especially because information is so incredibly powerful and important. making the login process for consumers makes the experience hassle-free and seamless.

  3. Man I feel safe in the moment, but thinking about the power that they are getting it is pretty wild. I am hopeful that the people that run things will look out for the greater good of all. However, it is very possible that they will not. For this reason, I will be careful with how much information and freedoms I sign away.

  4. I feel pretty safe. This is because i am very conscious about the kind of information that i share through the web. At the same time, these companies attempt to ensure that the information that we share is protected. On the other hand, some individuals might be able to hack this data. I guess it comes down to the risk one is willing to take in order to fully utilize the services and apps that require a Google or Facebook log-in information.
