Doubling Down on CEO Pay - NYT

The healthy fast food restaurant that almost everyone loves, Chipotle, compensate their CEOs (yes plural) more than what Jaimie Dimon and Lloyd Blankfein at J.P. Morgan and Goldman Sachs earn. The article describes investors that want to see some change in the way that their executives are compensated.

What are your thoughts on the article? Do you think this is the start of a trend or just a one-time event from a company with decent values (all organic food)?

Here is an excerpt from the article:
“It’s a reckless pay structure that does nothing to appropriately incentivize management to create long-term value,” said Michael Pryce-Jones of CtW. “Their pay is out of whack however you measure it.”
