Janet Yellen told Congress this week that there are two "disturbing" trends going on in our economy, namely long term unemployment and income inequality. Unfortunately fed chair says that even she is very limited in her ability to address these problems.
She also talked about housing, the weather, and bubbles.
Do you agree with Janet Yellen? If there's not much even the fed can do about these problems who can solve these issues and how?
I agree with Janet Yellen that it is not in the Fed's control to address these two dismaying economic troubles. again, it goes back to having strict policies and regulations that are not dodged by wealthy individuals and corporations. i would like to hear from people on this too. who is supposed to solve them.
